1. Nail Polish Stains on Carpet:

Blot up excess nail polish: Use a clean paper towel or cloth to blot up as much of the wet nail polish as possible. Do not rub as this can spread the stain.
Apply nail polish remover: Dampen a clean white cloth with an acetone-based nail polish remover. Gently blot the stain starting from the outside and moving toward the center. Do not rub; blotting helps transfer the nail polish to the cloth. Continue until the stain is no longer transferring.

Check the stain: After washing, check the stained area to ensure the nail polish stain is fully gone. If any traces remain, repeat the process.

3. Nail Polish Stains on Fabric:

Follow the same steps as for clothes, but be cautious with delicate or valuable fabrics. If the fabric is sensitive, you may want to consult a professional cleaner for advice or assistance.

The key to successfully removing nail polish stains is to act quickly and avoid rubbing, which can push the polish further into the material. Always check care labels and test any stain-removing method on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it won't damage the material.
