Berry Bash: Vinegar and Detergent Fix

Berry stains can be a challenge with their bright colors, but this vinegar and detergent combo can save your fabrics:

  1. Rinse with Cold Water: Begin by holding the stain under cold running water from the back to push the berry pigments out. Avoid hot water, as it can set the stain.

  2. White Vinegar Dab: Dab the stained area with white vinegar, which helps to break down the berry’s natural dyes. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes.

  3. Liquid Detergent Application: Apply a few drops of liquid detergent directly to the stain and gently rub it in. The detergent will help lift any remaining color.

  4. Rinse Again: Rinse thoroughly with cold water, checking if the stain has lightened. Repeat the vinegar and detergent steps if needed.

  5. Cold Water Wash: Launder in cold water to keep any remaining berry pigments from setting. Air-dry and inspect before putting in the dryer to ensure the stain is fully gone.

With these simple steps, berry stains are a breeze to remove, keeping your clothes fresh and stain-free!
