Soda Splash: Fizz-Free in a Flash

Soda stains can be sugary and sticky, but these steps will help remove them quickly:

  1. Blot the Stain: Use a paper towel to blot up as much liquid as possible without rubbing, which can push the stain deeper into the fabric.

  2. Cold Water Rinse: Rinse the back of the stained area with cold water to help lift any sugars from the soda.

  3. White Vinegar Soak: Mix equal parts white vinegar and cold water, then soak a cloth in the solution and dab the stain. This helps neutralize sugars and dyes from the soda. Let it sit for about 10 minutes, then rinse with cold water.

  4. Apply Liquid Laundry Detergent: Rub a small amount of liquid laundry detergent onto the stain, gently working it into the fabric. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes to break down any residual sugars or color.

  5. Wash in Cold Water: Launder the item in cold water to avoid setting any remaining stain and air-dry. Check to ensure the stain is fully gone before applying heat.

These steps will make soda stains a thing of the past and keep your fabrics fresh!
